Behind Oaka

Oaka Store (formerly Oaka Bambino) began in a little garage on the Tweed Coast, Northern NSW, and was born shortly after the birth of our Son, Jay, who ignited the desire to begin what his Mama had been wanting to start for many years.

Known for our Timber Sensory Boards + Surf Boards, we then naturally gravitated towards our end goal of Children's Fashion, where we knew we could channel more of our passion and creativity. Our thoughtful designs, colours and collections, are inspired greatly by the sun + the sea; an endless-summer state of mind.

With a background in brand management, it was important that we create unique, quality pieces designed to last, but to also keep up with the ever changing fashion trends; and above all else, provide exceptional customer service. 

As we learn and grow, we are committed to making more sustainable choices now and in the future, and to bringing you the most fun, unique and timeless pieces for many, many more seasons to come.
